Money well Spent..

Thought I would update you with a few purchases I have made. So I have been looking for a new black bag for a while now and after much deliberation this M&S Black studded one was for me! A spontaneous purchase yesterday saw me get this nude bag much like the Zara version for only £25 from TKMaxx. I also think this is better than the Zara version as it has a zip across so you don't need to worry about losing things!

 

 

 

 

I have also recently bought a neon jumper from Forever 21 and a fringed top from Primark which was £2! Ill post these within the week.

A long time ago..

Seeing as I have not posted in a while I thought I would update you with what I have been doing.

Firstly London again...this time for 3 days. Lots was seen within these 3 days but highlights were the Harrods Disney Princess Windows, Regent Street Light Switch on and general sightseeing! These are images that I took.

Victoria's Secret!

A week later than planned but I have finally got the chance to post about the new Victoria's Secret store with you. From my previous post you an see I visited London and on the top of my to do list was to go see the highly anticipated London Victoria's Secret flagship.

 

After getting there before it opened it gave us a chance to take some pictures of the windows which were full of the catwalk outfits from last years Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. I love this piece that Miranda Kerr got to wear although I would of hated that weight on my back!

 

 

 

So as soon as we walk in we were greeted my a woman giving out these free wristbands with their new fragrance sprayed on them. I would love to know how much this is going to cost to give each customer one of those!

 

 

 

This is the stairwell which is adorned in mirrors and plasma screens streaming fashion show footage.

 

 Onto the interior which was laid out to perfection. Compared to the Victoria's Secret in New York this beat it hands down. Although New York had a sale on at the time it did not scream 'luxurious' like this did!

 

 

 

Also inside where various outfits from the show which just shows you how much detail and time goes into making each individual piece.

 

Finally the Pink Store shop window! Love the VM and of course the giant dogs!

London + VM

Yesterday I went to London to go to Buckingham Palace again to use my free pass but I could not resist going to look at the Visual Merchandising. Here are the images I took of window displays around Oxford and Bond Street. I know they are not the best quality as the sun was so bright it made it hard not to get reflections! I also visited Victoria's Secret but I plan to do a separate post on that!

I also had time to visit the V&A and see the newly refurbished Fashion section as well as the Theatre and Performance section. The fashion section is so much brighter and inviting than before. The only downside to the section is the exhibition space in the middle which is currently showing the Ballgowns exhibition in as it takes up quite a lot of the space. If you get chance to visit the V&A I recommend you take a look at the Jewellery and Theatre space. The Theatre exhibition shows how productions are made from scratch. Also shown are stage costumes and set designs from Lady Gaga's Tour Set to Kylie's dressing room. Finally to complete my day I looked around Buckingham Palace (again!) and the 'Diamonds' exhibition which features inside. Here is a picture from the garden of the back of Buckingham Palace.
