Outfit for Newspaper

Just a quick post of me in an outfit which is going to be featured in the Nottingham Post on the 18th August and this was the first chance to debut my new top which I have previously posted about. Sorry I haven't been blogging much but I will next week as its my birthday and I am going to the Olympics!

Purple Jasper Conran Bag with spotted texture

This is an outfit I wore to go out for a meal the other night. I usually dislike sales as they just bring out old rubbish and it all ends up on the floor! However I did manage to find this peplum style t-shirt for just £2 in New Look. Although its not the best quality for £2 you can't complain! I decided to add in my purple Jasper Conran bag for a splash of colour.

Royal Ascot

Im pretty sad that the the past 5 days of coverage at Ascot has come to an end as I love looking at all the fabulous outfits! Although, I have never been to the races I would love to go and get the chance to get dressed up! I have a few fashion favourites from the Royal Family (which have become a new obsession for me after seeing them in Nottingham!).

I love the Queen in blue as it gives her a really youthful glow.

Sophie Countess of Wessex usually wears a cream/nude colour so wearing a pale blue really made a change. Personally I think she can pull of most colours so she should be a little bit more daring sometimes.

I know Katherine Jenkins is not a royal but I think this outfit oozes sophistication. With the dress fitting in with the dress code she has managed to sneak a few sheer slits in the middle of the dress.

Here is my pick of some sophisticated and glamourous looks for Ascot. I have done a High Street outfit and a Designer one. Obviously I would love to have worn the Designer one!
